Program Assessment
SIT staff care deeply about innovation and excellence, extending to all points of engagement with students, their parents or guardians, and faculty and staff at our partner schools. Regular assessment encompasses all areas of the institution.
The purpose of SIT’s Academic Affairs Committee is to oversee the academic affairs of SIT. The committee is composed of faculty from SIT Graduate Institute and SIT Study Abroad. It reviews all curricular proposals, including changes to credit hours, course and program titles, and new program development. The committee meets monthly.
An annual assessment summit is conducted under the guidance of the the Dean for Assessment & Learning Support and the Office of the Dean of Faculty with Student Health, Safety & Well-Being, Enrollment Services, and Global Operations. Discussions highlight areas of particular success and improvements, and identifies where investment or further attention is necessary.
