SIT Mental Health and Resilience Abroad (Optional)
May 14, 2026 | 1 – 3pm ET | Register here

Studying abroad offers the chance to explore new cultures, food, languages, and meet new people. While this experience can be transformative, it also comes with unique challenges and stressors. In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore science-backed strategies to build resilience and well-being abroad. Plus, hear insights from alumni on what worked for them in maintaining mental health during their SIT programs.

SIT Study Abroad: identity Abroad (Optional)
May 20, 2026 | 3:00 – 4:30pm ET | Register here

As you prepare to study abroad, consider aspects of your identity. Studying away is an opportunity to engage with different cultures and people from other countries, but how do you fit in? Join the session where staff and alumni create space for conversations about identity abroad. Topics related to race/ethnicity, religion, LGBTQA+, gender, and more will be explored.

And remember, even if you do not hold some identities and cannot relate, being part of the conversation can help you become a supportive ally and friend to your peers on the program.
