Muntaha Al-Gharaibeh
Dr. Gharaibeh is the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Amman Ahliya University. She is a professor at the faculty of nursing at Jordan University of science and technology. Former Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC), Dr. Gharaibeh worked as a Dean of Nursing at Jordan University of Science and Technology and Al ElBayt University between the years 2001-2010. In addition to her academic career, she works as a national, regional and international consultant on various issues including (health systems development and evaluation and consults on health of women and nursing professional issues) for international organizations such as WHO, USAID, UNFPA and other Arab and Jordanian institutions. Dr. Gharaibeh has published in numerous international journals on health and empowerment of Jordanian/Arab women mainly on family violence. She represents the health sector and nursing in prestigious national and regional committees where she influenced and still influencing policies and directions of the nursing profession.
