Amina Singh, PhD, is an educator and researcher with interest in educational research, critical pedagogy, community development, adult learning and social transformation. She is an adjunct faculty at Kathmandu University teaching and supervising research at the graduate level. She is also an instructor for the Field Methods and Ethics course for this program.
Meeta Sainju Pradhan received her PhD in sociology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. With a robust multidisciplinary foundation, she has over 20 years of experience in designing and overseeing multi-sectoral development programs in Nepal. She has done research on issues related to gender equality, social inclusion, biodiversity, and climate change, and has led various assignments for studies commissioned by several donors.
Dr. Aastha Dahal earned her PhD in criminology from the University of Cambridge, specializing in police conflict resolution programs targeting spousal violence. She now serves as a lawyer, blending her legal expertise with a diverse career in consulting. She actively supports students at SIT Study Abroad Nepal, utilizing her knowledge to understand the gender dynamics in relation to violence against women in the Nepalese context.
