Amy Burrows

University Relations Manager

Amy Burrows

Lower Atlantic region: Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia

Amy serves as the SIT university relations manager for the lower Atlantic region. Prior to joining the SIT team in August 2015, Amy spent seven years as an institutional relations manager with The School for Field Studies. She holds a BA in international affairs and Spanish from the University of New Hampshire and an MA in international education from SIT Graduate Institute. Amy started traveling at an early age and is fortunate to have traveled, studied, lived, worked, and volunteered abroad for much of her life. Though it is difficult to pick one experience that influenced her life path, serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia from 2001 to 2004 certainly stands out. Being a product of experiential education herself, Amy is excited to join the SIT family to represent its high-impact, field-based study abroad programs.
