Instructors will draw materials from variety of formal and informal sources, including audio-visual materials.
Students will be expected to devote approximately 45 hours to synchronous and 22.5 hours to asynchronous activities and assignments over a six-week period. Synchronous classes will be held in the morning or in the evenings according to the student-teacher availability and time zones. Synchronous sessions with language teachers may include direct instruction, drills and conversation exercises, audio-visual listening, reading practices, word games and oral presentations etc. Asynchronous activities may include practice exercises, small group projects, discussion boards, and completion of assignments.
