Cancelled Programs: Summer 2020
SIT is working hard to meet the challenges of these times and to help keep students on track toward your academic goals while providing responsible, flexible and inspiring options for summer 2020. Because student health and safety are our top priority, we have made some significant changes to our original summer programs.* However, we remain committed to providing students with a range of engaging experiential learning experiences.
Below is a list of SIT summer programs with later start dates that remain open for enrollment. Our extended deadline for these programs is May 15. These programs have been modified to include five weeks in country preceded by a one-week online component.
We are also offering a wide range of three-credit language courses with an optional three-credit January term in country for language immersion, and new virtual internship programs in Serbia and The Netherlands. In addition, we are developing new certificate programs with special topics; and study away options that address critical global issues from a domestic U.S.perspective. Details on these programs will follow soon.
*These changes may alter the number of credits available on our programs. Please check with your school’s Financial Aid and Study Abroad offices to review your choices and options. SIT scholarship recipients may also receive notification regarding adjustments to their summer awards with respect to changes in the SIT summer program fees.
