Assistant Director of Admissions
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Wendy Mason has a BA in communications with an emphasis on photography and digital imaging from St. Norbert College. She worked for three years as a digital artist in a professional photo lab before moving to Vermont to obtain her master’s in international education at SIT Graduate Institute in 2005. Since 2006, she has worked with SIT Study Abroad in various roles and locations, first as program assistant in Dublin, then in Brattleboro as an admissions counselor, working primarily with applicants to programs in Europe and Asia/Pacific regions. In 2012, Wendy stepped into the role of assistant director of admissions. She enjoys working on creative social media and marketing projects while continuing to advise students through the application and pre-departure processes. She loves to hear stories from alumni about their experiences and successes on SIT programs and how their lives have changed as a result.
Wendy has traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and Central and South America as well as throughout the US. She is deeply ingrained in the Brattleboro community through her volunteer work at the local public access television station and at a therapeutic horse riding center. One of her personal goals is to pick up French again to improve her fluency (and to keep traveling)!
