Vanessa Doyle has been an admissions counselor for SIT Study Abroad since January of 2014. She oversees the programs in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru, and Panama. She guides each student to a program that aligns with his or her passion and academic pursuits. Additionally, she helps students prepare for their travels abroad, including supporting them throughout the visa application. She received her BA in psychology and Spanish, and has a master’s in elementary education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Before joining SIT, she worked for four years as an elementary school teacher and three years as a life coach. Vanessa studied abroad for 12 months in Spain during her junior year of college. During that year, she traveled throughout Europe, Israel, and Morocco. More recently, she traveled throughout Latin America, living with several host families, and further developing her Spanish language skills.
Vanessa is excited to guide students using her personal experience studying abroad. Her hobbies include fiber arts, and she is currently working on a new cross-stitch pattern.
